De topic i wish 2 share 2day is bout m internship review at Sofitel Palm Resort…wow, its happened 3 months ago…(time past so fast)
On de 3rd of October 2005 was my 1st day officially started my internship at tat hotel… Around 7.30am, i reached tat hotel coz no transport mah so no choice lor had 2 come earlier… I got myself lost on my way 2 de Human Resource Dept. (HR)… After a way of long run… finally i found tat Dept.
On 9.15am, our orientation programme started wor… Actually, i think it’s a wastage of time lor coz de objective of tis programme was oni 1 us 2 get noe all de upper management level staff oni lor…
1sT mOnTh of my TrAiNiNg…
i’m so happy bcoz my 1st dept. is my favourite dept. wor which is Front Ofice Dept. 5 of us were been goin 2 FO 4 training 1st who are me, CJ, Seph, Sally n Mandy… V met Mr. Tony who is de Asst. Front Office Manager wor… (he is a very nice guy n he is so n so friendly) then v met de Front Office Manager who is Ms. Rose Magmud wor (she is so fierce 4 dee 1st time v saw her lar but after getting noe then bcame veri friendly liao lor)… Then Mr. Tony bring us 2 de Airport Counter 4 a quite briefing… Actually, FO rali left lots n lots of gud memory 4 me n taught me a lot of others skill which i never learned b4 at college… During my training, i had when throught de Reception, Customer Service Centre, Concierge(earn sum pocket $), Airport Counter, Reservation Dept. n Operator… These are my list of best friends at FO dept. (Idris, Ahmad, Anne, Nurul, Vanan, Karen, Nisa, Nadia n etc)

i was goin 2 Housekeeping dept. after FO dept. During my training at tat dept., it was not rali fun as FO but quite noeledgeable oso lar… I had went throught many dept. such as Laundry, Room Cleaning, Mini-Bar Service n Public Area… These are my list of best friends at HK dept. (Sara, Kap, Win, Chai, Siti, Fili, Babul n etc) During my training at tat dept. tat hatel had organise a Family Day 4 all de staff in tat hotel including trainees… (so fun n enjoyable)
3rD mOnTh of my TrAiNiNg…
My last month training was at F&B Dept. which is Food & Beverage Dept. I hAd been send off by de HR dept. 2 de club there 4 de training which almost all de permanent staff said tat i wsa so n so lucky 2 b able train at club there… but i think tat was my worst part of my training coz i been misused by de permanent staff there 2 b a cleanliness officer which i been oni taught 2 clean de table oni wor but i disobey their order which i took order n do serving 2 prove my ability 2 them… they was so n so cruel 2 me coz after tat they keep asking me 2 do all tde serving n taking all de order meanwhile those stupid n lazy permanent staff juz slacking at de counter there… After tat i transfer myself 2 de Banquet dept. after de adknowledgement of de Club Service Manager (Mr. Bryan)… my fate change after my transfer 2 there… it was so n so nice coz everything was in order n full of teamwork with de staff at there… There are de list of my best friends at F&B Club… (Seripah a.k.a. Kak Pah, Mas Nejib, Ramdann, Sohef, Mohan, Puvanes n etc.)

As a conclusion, it’s veri fun n noeledgeable training coz i had learned lots n lots of skill n technics during my internship at Sofitel Palm Resort …!!!!!!!
